Pros

The site I work at is central within the city and is beautiful. Great location.

Cons

Every day, you have at least 5 updates you need to give to your managers about what you are completing or how many interviews you have completed. The process itself is extremely intense and the pressure is very high in the workplace. At the end, the recruiters are accountable for how many numbers they pull in for each stage of the recruiting process. Managers only care about numbers and if you aren't pulling as many as the high number they expect, they will set up multiple trainings and 1:1's with you. The base salary practically the only money you will see. Do not believe you will receive a significant commission, because you will only receive 3% of the commission you've earned. The rest goes to Kforce. So, you can do the math. Imagine calling hundreds of people about a role, and only a few being interested. After that, if you submit someone for a 60,000 role and they accept (if they accept), then you will only get 1800 at the end of the year. The level of work you do is very high and responsibilities are endless. You could easily be doing an easier role at another company and get paid the same at the end.

Pros

-Staffing Industry experience and learning how to manage a large workload -Relationship building with client market

Cons

-Long unpaid hours ,Minimum 48-50 hour week ( even more extra hours are always encouraged by management) -Shallow leadership, Lack of "real" employee appreciation. (You are just a number.) - Lot of Ego's in every room, especially from top performers, and managers. - High Turnover, they target new grads and people making career changes. Most of the people you start with wont be there in a year or two. Ratio of people actually becoming successful and staying is very slim in grand scheme. -Constant operational changes - Aggressive motivational tactics
