Pros
Clients are the true magic of this place, nothing else. Great place to go after graduating college to pay a few dues, get some experience, and realize how horrible some facilities in the field can be allowed to operate.
Cons
This company does not care about you or their clients. A behavioral intervention staff with a plethora of allegations against him previously, punched a teenaged boy in the face (admitted to it and bragged to everyone he could), and this staff member continued to keep their job at this company for more than a year after the incident and was allowed by Kidspeace to step back onto units. The lunch you are legally required to take is not given at this company or atleast was not in my time there. You were expected to eat on the floor with clients while having the simultaneous possibility of having to enter a physical restraint while trying to shove your meal down your throat as fast as you can. Don’t expect any sort of 10-15 minute breaks, unless you smoke cigarettes, then you’ll probably get plenty.
