      Pros

      This a focused company with very defined goals and a consistent record of achieving these goals. These targets are both financial and performance oriented, and they are made public. These goals are the standard by which performance is measured, and all are consistently held to the standard. This works because there is no question about what the performance objectives are who did or did not achieve them.

      Cons

      The focus seems to be too short term. Efficiency and capacity suffer because of short term goals. Long term vision is not communicated well to lower levels. Likewise, the ideas and suggestions of employees are nor communicated up through levels of management.

      Pros

      Kinder Morgan is a great company that is run very efficiently. In contrast with other reviews I found on the internet, I think the senior management is very sharp and know how to keep a cash cow mooing. Also, management (in the Argo office at least) does an excellent job handling problems within the terminal whether it be between employees, engineering problems, whatever.

      Cons

      I think your chances of getting cancer increase dramatically since many of the fuels contain known cancer causing agents. This is strongly shot down at Kinder Morgan but it does not take an idiot to figure out that breathing, interacting and working with these chemicals everyday could increase your chances.
