Run, and don't look back!

Pros

Some nice people stuck in a dead-end job.

Cons

Brow-beaten middle management that doesn’t support employees. KM doesn’t even come close to living up to its Mission Statement. Very old technology, some desktop computers over 7 years old. Small to insignificant raises, will use any reason to discount bonuses. If you’re an IT person or engineer, RUN!

A Family Affair

Pros

Rich Kinder is obviously a solid business man. He is strategic with assets and the company continues to grow. Job security seems high as the workload is intense.

Cons

Recent management has been allowed to fill the company with friends and family. Under the old management, things seem to run with relative integrity. Now, positions are filled with unqualified candidates and directors are pressured to hire the "recommended" applicants. Unfortunately some have taken it too far and even gone so far as to hire a former basketball coach as a Safety Consultant. These decisions have an effect on the morale of the people on the team who do value safety and all that KM claims to hold valuable. It was disheartening to watch the steady and then rather rapid decline in the integrity of upper management.
