Pros

very much enjoy the therapy team i work with and appreciate their talent.

Cons

90% productivity expectations are unrealistic and are expected to be obtained through questionable billing practices. these expectations result in significant pressure from management to each therapist/employee to compromise him or herself regarding appropriate management of therapy minutes, reduced quality of care, reduced quality of care. the company does not exhibit a concern for patient treatment/quality of treatment with primary focus being on making money. Documentation system is very antiquated, all documentation is still hand written and is tedious and time consuming. because Kindred and Rehab Care's policy is Point of Care for documentation, patient treatment time is often compromised in lieu of doing all documentation with patients present. Rehab Care/Kindred absolutely use intimidating and verbally aggressive behaviors from management to obtain expected productivity. I would not in good conscience recommend Rehab Care or Kindred as a good company to work for because of the compromising position they put their employees in on a regular basis.

Pros

Great opportunity to travel see the country, stay nice place, earn points for vacations,... Easy work Asked by managment on regular basis to strech/pad hours Minimal supervision (out in field on own, management shows up every once in a while for a few hours and complain about something then leaves)

Cons

No documentation No training (what they have for some is to do work at warehouse that doesn't fit field and others can sit around) Poor communications (cancile conf calls at last minute 50% time, management doesn't return calls most of the time,...) Procedures - each manager has different way of doing something so tells you are doing it wrong even though stated by another manager to do it that way Managment plays "teacher pets"
