      Pros

      Kindred's commitment to performance improvement and customer satisfaction. The fosters a culture that produces quality thus making Kindred the industry leader.

      Cons

      The obstacles that Medicare reform continue to present. This forces the company to have their employees continue to change with the times. Although difficult, it continues to drive the quality staff to be exceptional.

      Pros

      Each department and every floor had a different atmosphere. I worked in radiology and was able to view all the different departments when doing portables. The staff groups & individuals that take pride in their job really made a difference in this extended care hospital.

      Cons

      A lot of departments or individuals didn't take pride in their position and was obvious they were just there for the paycheck. Patients left unattended for long periods of time and even missing patients was a norm.

      Offer better pay and a great learning experience.

      Cons

      There is a lack of communication between Nursing and Nurse Management. There is lack of support and trust of Nursing staff among upper management. There is a very negative morale in the facility among employees. The corporation does not provides the resources needed to do a quality job. Patient care is not priority.
