Pros

The King County Environmental Lab is a wonderful place to work, the people are all top notch to work with and you are able to have a successful career with good pay.

Cons

Entry into the labs in the sense of getting a full-time permanent job is extremely difficult. And can only be accomplished if someone is retiring. Employee retention is extremely high.

Pros

They listen to employees. If you have something to share, you will likely have a supportive boss who is genuinely interested in hearing you.

Cons

KC is obsessed with diversity social justice. It’s stressful because you’re always afraid of saying the wrong thing. They’re aggressively reprimanding people.
