Company match 401(k) The comradeship of the besieged non-management types vis-a-vis management The mask of frustration on supervisors face when he he knows that you know his commands are asinine

Cons

The dismal realization that "Customer First" is too nebulous a concept for management to grasp. "Customer First", in practice, means that occasional deviation from Kroger scripture is necessary. The sinking feeling that advancement in career will require removal of joy and critical thinking faculties.

Your whole life revolves around the store. I worked hours that ranged from 3 am start time to 11 am start time. Days off were sparadic and I felt like I had no life besides working at King Soopers
