Pros

it was good money and getting payed every week was pretty cool and there are some pretty great people that work for the company.

Cons

after working for 2 years and receiving high praise for the way I did my job consistantly and being told that I had earned friendship with senior management that I was let go and fired from the company for something very insignificant leaving me feeling that the time i spent there was a sham.

Pros

You can work part time and don't really have to think at work. It is a mindless job to do.

Cons

The managers are not understanding and people are rude. The salaries are terrible and the workers are on drugs at work.

Pros

King Soopers, in my opinion is a great place to work. Never have I seen before the attempt to put Customers First so much. The Managers and trainers put in so much time and effort to sincerely put the customers first. I recently started working at King Soopers as a Courtesy Clerk. I went above and beyond, always trying to find something to do so I continued to be busy. It wasn't long before I was recognized and was given many Checker hours. Within the next week or two I may become an official checker. This just goes to show that if you do your job and more, you will be recognized! Management does a great job in continually thanking me for my help and service and telling me that I'm doing a great job. I'm so lucky to be working here at this store! I'm not sure if all King Sooper stores are like this, but if they are, then King Soopers has to be the best place.

Cons

From other people's experience, getting time off can be hard. Especially as you begin to move up the ladder, you are expected to work when they expect you to work. But if you communicate well with the managers, they will most likely be willing to work with you and your own personal schedule. You just have to understand that they are running a business and need employees to run it.
