Fort Knox is a wonderful place to work, with a generally upbeat, can-do work culture. In general the expectations are very high, so expect to work very hard. There are also ample opportunities for advancement.

Cons

The work days can be long, and the work repetitive. The weather conditions in Fairbanks are also very hard for some.
