Could be so much better IF...
Pros
Some really wonderful people that go above and beyond for each other and for their job. A lot of good ideas if only they would follow through or be approved. Tuition Reimbursement. Yearly reviews. Many coworkers are like family. If you are struggling with health or family issues they will go out of their way to assist you, as long as you ask. They have an open door policy all around, you just have to figure out where to go next.
Cons
Equipment is sorely out of date! A constant push for new equipment and better processes is often looked at as unnecessary or foolish talk. Certain members of upper management drive this culture. 80% temp employees who are not thoroughly interviewed or trained are a major drag on the organization but poor employee appreciation means permanent employees are not likely to remain long term. Bathrooms are disgusting though a recent push to rectify that has helped, albeit slightly. Major concerns over the competency of many employees should strike fear into company leaders. So many jobs need to be filled it seems many are just taking whoever they can get. This company really needs to focus on the quality of their employees as well as of their product. Production managers need to be fully aware of their operators and ensure they do not leave their post. Much downtime comes from this.
