Decent pay. MDU Resources is a stable and healthy mothership.

Cons

Very decentralized company. Some divisions are probably great. Others absolutely terrible to work for. Research a specific division before working there. My review is based on one specific division.

Knife River is a large Company with a lot of resources. Projects varied from small to large and there appeared to be many opportunities for growth. They do a lot of promotion within.

Cons

The training was very poor. Expectations were never made clear. Was overworked, underappreciated and underpaid. They show no loyalty to their employees.
