Questionable Ethics

Pros

There are no good words to say about this company.

Cons

1)Their greed for profit overrides their moral compass to pay a fair wage. They have several government contracts in which they give their employee 45% if you are lucky of what the government is paying them for that job. 2) They write employment agreements so the employee or the contractors rights are clearly violated. 3) They have very questionable hiring practices. 4) They have very questionable accounting practices that need to be investigated. 5) Their HR department is not knowledgeable in their practices and continuously give the wrong information.

Pros

Positive work environment, Compassionate and caring management team, Ability to work independently, Freedom to think outside the box. There are several positive incentives to work at KS.

Cons

We are paid only twice per month. Not bi-weekly, but twice per month. Meaning there are several months per year we have to go three weeks between pay checks. This causes great distress for me as a single parent. This is something a great percentage of KS employees have complained about and verbalized to management and the owners of the company but seems to fall on deaf ears. The salary is competitive but is less than desired for the amount of work required. Although management tries to provide incentives such as trips to the corporate office in Indiana every year I would prefer a holiday bonus and/or the ability to earn bonuses. Health insurance isn't good. No opportunity for advancement.

Thank you for taking the time to write and provide a constructive review! We truly appreciate receiving feedback that is both productive and effective. We are thrilled to hear that you have experienced the flexibility, positivity, creative freedom, and the compassion of a caring management team during the last three years. Even more so, we hear your frustrations and suggestions, and we are sincerely taking them into consideration as we look for areas to improve and enact positive change. We are constantly working to improve the employee experience both on-site and off-site, and we value your feedback, as it gives us greater insight into where we need to focus efforts. The only thing we ask is: please grant us a little patience as we make changes and improve our employee's experience. It does take time to implement change, but we see that as a valuable part of growing a business! Thank you again for providing open and honest feedback. Please know that we value the hard work you have put into our company and your work. We are so glad to have you as part of our Knowledge Services family. Thank you again for your contributions.
