Burnt out to a crisp

Pros

Dog friendly Cool city office (huge but empty) Nice people in immediate teams P&C are great Well thought out onboarding process Clever people in every corner

Cons

Turnovers are rampant. I've seen more redundancies announced on zoom calls here in one year than I have in my entire career elsewhere combined. All about revenue here. I joined the company when it was creatively booming, which was a motivation to join. Over time, that went out the door in lieu of daily sales reports, quick turnaround tasks to keep numbers in the green, and back to back sales. Very much so a profit over people culture.

Pros

Location of office in city - We work building that don’t even have milk in the fridge though. You can take your dog to work There are lovely people in other departments

Cons

Toxic management High levels of nepotism Disorganisation Alexandria office is filthy dusty needs a good clean Sell you the dream of a career and it’s a false reality Unrelistic expectations Bullying and harassment - Constant fearmongering Setting customer service team up to fail really Management is obsessed with stats and figures

Big goals but bigger burnout culture

Pros

- incredibly talented team - involvement in exciting projects - good snacks - flexible working - good pay

Cons

- burnout is huge - under resourced to achieve their goals - people put on stress leave often - 1 year average turnover per staff - feedback from staff not actioned - lack of solid prioritisation structure - losing talented people - not much culture events etc - trying to do too much at once
