      Pros

      You get direct feedback from the residents which makes the work very rewarding Profit sharing bonuses when occupancy is full. Co workers for the most part are willing to go above and beyond to help out.

      Cons

      Management is more concerned about money than what really matters and often this can upset the residents. Micro management and poor leadership throughout the management team. Poor examples set by manager, says one thing and then actions do not reflect that. One example is an employee showing up intoxicated then being asked to drive home rather than been given a ride or taken a cab/bus

      Pros

      Caregiving, laundry, and housekeeping is always so helpful towards one another. Can really count on them to be there!

      Cons

      Some residents are extremely combative towards caregivers, do have scars. Management is always worried about how the building looks instead of how the residents are.

Caregiving is a hard and stressful job, and while it is very rewarding, there are also challenges when residents are having a difficult time in their life.       Pros

      I have been working with Koelsch Communities for the last few months, and it has been a fun ride. I work in the home office, and I have met only nice people. Everyone is here to support the communities and assist wherever needed. I have had a chance to travel to multiple states and communities and the teams at each location are friendly and helpful.

      Cons

      I have a lot of work to do and a steep learning curve. But, with previous companies, I have had less work, but more fires. Here, the number of emergencies are very minimal, and I appreciate that.
