Pros

crappy pay, bad manager, and not professional

Cons

I worked at kohls for 10 months and in those 10 months I made some friends but 1 enemy this person would continuously harass me no matter how many people I told and how many times I reported it. none of my reports were taken seriously and nothing was done about it. he would come to work when he wasn't working and stare me down, he even threaten my life one time if I ever came near him or his girlfriend again since he girlfriend and I used to be friends before him. it was as far as to him following me home. I cant express how many times this was reported and nothing was done the manager would choose his side since he'd lie and start crying about everything and the old assistant manager would tell me his feelings matter more then mine since when he'd comment about these reports and say he was uncomfortable he'd make a show out of it. to this day this harassment continues and he still walks around kohls like he owns the place because no one is willing to correct his behavior and discipline him. I do fear my life and this is all gotten out of hand because of the way kohls handled it in the first place, by not doing anything and gossiping instead.

Pros

Good salary. benefits are ok. Medical is terrible.

Cons

They promote themselves as one of those companies that is "woke" and open minded, but many of their managers are toxic bullies and there is quite a bit of racism and ageism. Talk about white savior complex. You barely see any minorities in management positions in some of their departments. Seems some VP's would like to keep it that way. They get rid of older employees to hire young people that they can pay less. But the way they go about this is by bullying them and harassing the older employees.

Pros

THERE ARE NO PROS, nearly everyone was overworked because Kohl’s decided to cut payroll.

Cons

Managers are unorganized. The training curriculum is outdated and managers will pull you away from your training to do associate tasks. Essentially they do not care if you actually learn they just need to use you as a pawn to do the things they can’t pay people enough to do. So have fun…
