Pros

I love being a guest teacher and having an opportunity to make a positive impact on young people each day. The staff at CSTN is extremely caring, and dedicated to the students they serve. I've found more than a job here; I've found a home.

Cons

Mornings are early -- you have to be ready for calls at 6 am. But once you get in a routine, the calls are reliable, and I get up each morning regardless if I have a call or not, knowing that I will have a position.

Pros

Everyone at CSTN is truly in it for students and cares about the teachers they are working for. The screening process for guest teachers is more rigorous than comparable companies. For full-time employees, CSTN offers flexible work locations and hours, good amount of time off, and super fun, caring, and humble colleagues. People here are driven, but there's a real sense of teamwork.

Cons

For full-time employees, the company is growing quickly so there are lots of folks who are new and figuring things out together. This creates a lot of camaraderie, but means that self-starters are going to be more successful. Benefits could be more competitive.

Pros

Lots of opportunities to get experience in all grades and subjects.

Cons

Unorganized. Hard to get in contact with supervisors. Let us cancel assignments. There are more than enough teachers waiting to take on cancelled jobs.
