Pros

Great 6 years, superior products, good working environment, lots of resources available to keep up with the fast changes in this field.

Cons

Upper management is destroying their hard working, top performers. I made P.C. trip every year and was consistently a top performer. I loved my job and it provided a good living for my family, until management made it extremely difficult to do the things the way we had always done, having no authority at the branch level to make decisions on deals. The convoluted paperwork process and dealing with commission being reduced due to errors at Windsor and miscommunication, it totally took away the enjoyment of doing a job that I once had a passion for.

Pros

Pay is not bad. If you like overtime and you don't want to ever be off, this is your job.

Cons

Management doesn't manage. Expects technicians to do management’s job. Doesn’t tell the truth in the interview process. Gives you more calls than it is humanly possible to do per day. Most technicians work 9-10 hours a day for 8 hours of pay in order to keep up with work load. Those that don’t appear to be slackers. Management rips you if you can’t keep up. They send you to school to train you on one product then you are required work on everything. No training on additional products. No territories. They expect you to be on call 24/7 or you’re not a team player. Mandatory overtime because they can’t spread the workload over the month. High stress. No win.

Pros

Close to home, free parking, lots of fun, positive office staff interaction last 2 yes of employment

Cons

No promotion incentive for office staff. Micromanaged by market area and regional management. Cut me loose after 11 yrs of faithful, painful employment.
