* No dedicated sick pay policy, it’s just statutory which I’ve never experienced in a UK company. Sick pay either has to be taken as annual leave or unpaid/statatory
* Investment priorities feel misaligned. Founders will fund leadership ‘retreats’ while core benefits like sick pay, parental support and compassionate leave are limited/non existent.
* When leadership come from head office their approach around socials and drinking feels very 80’s ad agency vibe. I’ve seen other comments on here about it being like a boys club and frat vibes and I agree.
* Project allocation is inconsistent, with last-minute changes and limited communication around role fit
* Communication in general is poor. We hardly ever know what is going on in the company and things happen very suddenly and without warning.
* The office is not collaborative. It’s based in converted apartments in Shoreditch and this means the teams are in separate areas of the ‘office’.
* Although the people in the London office are lovely and great to work with, the overarching culture from leadership overseas leans towards corporate America / boys club
