Kony reviews

Kony is not a start-up anymore. So all the advantages of a start-up are gone. Kony is not an established company either. So there is no process in place. Basically, Kony is a company of semi-talented engineers mostly doing UI work. Its basically a 99% UI company....NOT a mobile company. Only the platform team (100 odd people) work on the actual mobile phone (mostly writing wrappers, they don't do app development). Everyone from associate engineer to architect is mostly involved in margin, padding, button, label etc. There are 0 hikes after you join. Worst canteen in the whole world. Even worse than hostel food. No transportation facilities. Avoid this company if you can. Don't get carried away with the initial salary raise. There is more to a job than money. Avoid this company specially if you are already working in a big organization (cognizant, IBM, Microsoft etc). Don't get tempted by the pay hike or the idea of working for a small company (i.e idea of getting more responsibilities) . Its not worth leaving a big established firm and joining Kony.
