      Great public accounting firm with many opportunities

      Pros

      Kreischer Miller is a great firm filled with extremely knowledgeable accountants and staff. There's an environment conducive to open communication from the staff level all the way through director level. Due to the size of the firm, you are exposed to so many different industries, which allows you to narrow down which ones interest you most. A healthy work-life balance is definitely attainable at Kreischer Miller as the hours are reasonable and some flexibility is usually available. Activities outside of the office are also numerous, allowing you to build better relationships with your colleagues.

      Cons

      I don't have anything negative to say about the firm. Kreischer Miller has great staff and great clients. All employees are knowledgeable and helpful.

      Extremely employee centered. Truly caring leaders who want you to be successful. Honesty and Integrity of leaders. Respond to our concerns

      Cons

      Too much food - with all the free food they provide us our waist lines are growing! Some of the long term employees are a bit negative and don't come up with suggestions, they just complain.

      Pros

      The people are really nice. They are pretty flexible with schedules. If you are single, the benefits are pretty cheap. It's an easy place to coast-by if you don't want to put too much effort into the job, other than hours.

      Cons

      Overworked, even beyond busy season, this isn't the big 4 but they work us like it is. Not enough staff. Managers are even preparing returns on a regular basis. It's next to impossible to learn anything since half the people working here don't know anything and don't care to learn. Those that do have a clue, usually don't stay very long.
