Pros

Good benefits and flexibility - some really great people

Cons

Can be really tough on staff & seniors - little room to make mistakes but upper management can get away with being inconsiderate and unreliable without many repercussions

Thank you for taking the time to share a review. We work hard to create an environment where all of our team members feel they are respected and valued. Our managing director and CHRO always make themselves available to speak one-on-one with any team member about their concerns, because we know our team members are the key to our success. However, we can only look into issues that we are aware of. We invite you to share your concerns with us! You can reach either of them directly via their bios in the People section of kmco.com.

Pros

The interview and on boarding process was great. I was able to connect and meet with various managers and directors throughout the process to hear about their experience at Kreischer Miller. The Director of Talent Acquisition was communicative and maintained a connection with me through the entire hiring process. Everyone was very welcoming and laid back. They asked me relevant questions about my work experience and my experience in public accounting. The onboarding process was easy and they provided all relevant information well in advance to starting. The entire process was thoughtful and organized. I've been employed with two other public accounting firms and Kreischer Millers interview and onboarding experience was the best that I have encountered.

Cons

None. There are no cons that come to mind.

Interview and Onboarding Experience

Pros

Interview process was smooth and moved quickly. Kristin, the Director of Talent Acquisition, is such a pleasure to work with and made sure to answer all questions you had. Process started began with an interview with Kristin, then about a week later an interview with a fellow manager and a director, and then finally interview with the department head. Everyone one was a pleasure to speak with and all were open and up front with any questions or reservations I had and you could tell that everyone is passionate about working here (and was even more noticeable once I started). Once hired, the on-boarding process was very in depth and thorough. You can tell they took the time to make sure on-boarding was structured and organized, which is a change from my previous firm. There were many scheduled lunches with fellow managers and directors which I found helpful in building early relationships.

Cons

Part of onboarding included "shadow days" with other managers. I think the concept is a good idea, but I think providing some structure to the managers being shadowed would be beneficial.
