Pros

Only pro is that in my position I started with 3 weeks of vacation

Cons

Terrible work life balance. Toxic environment High turnover They take advantage of being a salary worker - I have been doing 6 day weeks for the last month and a half High expectations especially given being so short staffed right now Difficult/negative upper leadership Discrimination The company as a whole preach diversity and inclusion, but have leaders in place that do not uphold those values. I have been in a couple stores and have heard the most sexist and discriminatory comments. In addition, have heard many transphobic comments. They speak freely and do not take into account who they could be offending by making such comments. Companies preach bring your full self to work, but I would not recommend this company to anyone for that reason.

Pros

Walking across the parking lot to my car when I get off work. Semi good benefits, and a great bunch of store associates who work harder than Rodney McMullen ever has.

Cons

There are way to many to mention

Kroger in general.

Pros

Most of the customers you deal with (in my personal experience), are kind, polite, and not very rude. You rarely do get any rude ones. Coworkers, for the most part, are very cool, and friendly.

Cons

On the relatively rare occasion that you do have to deal with a rude customer, they are literal "Karen's", almost every single time. Oh, and it is guaranteed that you will be overworked and under payed. They are almost always short staffed. The Union for Kroger is not a good union, it doesn't stand with the people, but with the corporation (it is literally in bed with the corporation). And management could definitely be better and care more about their employees. Count on constantly being micro managed and told how to do your job from people who don't even work in your department. And there is little work/life balance. In other words, the cons definitely outweigh the pros.
