Pros

Enjoyed everyone I worked with. The teams are amazing and the benefits were good.

Cons

Company culture is lacking. Very cutthroat. Did not practice what they preached to the teams.

Pros

Grocery prices! Huge turnover so always have open job availability. If you are desperately seeking work. Union representative Tracy is great.

Cons

No real hands on training. Do not follow basic kroger SOPs. Harassment from "management". Dirty . Big shrinkage due to produce left sitting in back stock for days. Allowing employees to lift objects over weight and above their reach. Fire exits routinely blocked. No positive reinforcement or influence . Keep documentation! You will need it. Extremely high turnover.

Pros

You are on your own in a back office. No micromanaging. As long as the job gets done, you can work in whichever way works best for you. There's a lot to learn at first, but it becomes pretty easy after a few months.

Cons

HUGE workload, inconsistent hours and scheduling, very low pay, inconsistent policies, work environment is unclean and chaotic, several customers are unpleasant, bookkeepers make the same hourly wage as service desk and supervisors even though the bookkeeper workload is intense and requires more skill.
