Pros

-Weekly Pay -Benefits are higher than average. -Opportunity for growth within the company. -Vacation Time -401k matches up to 5% The pros to this company are definitely good for a starter job or someone who's been laid off and desperately needs a paycheck.

Cons

-Your job training consists of being thrown into a fire. I was required to learn how to build 6 models of backhoe that only 3 people at the time knew how to make. The job was so difficult that only one person had learned it in three years and when he was fired I was the only person who learned it in two years. There were no instructions, no manuals, and my supervisor had no idea what was going on. For three months, I stubbornly came into work trying to figure out how to do my job because no one who spoke good English could educate me on how to do my job. -Miserable hours, I worked for months at a time 60-70 hours because I worked in the most difficult weld shop. -Our boss in this weld shop was and still is the most undesirable person I've ever met in my life. I recall a time when I threw out my back and he made me work even though I couldn't stand. I had to lean on a table while I worked. -Plan to start working 5-7 am without notice and plan to leave between 3-8 pm with no notice. -Plan to work every Saturday or Sunday (Sat day shift - Sun night shift) within a 24-48 hour notice by management. -You get a 15, 30 and 10 minute break but because the way they structure the breaks you don't actually get the whole time. For instance, you're not allowed to be on the shop floor during break; however, your break starts right at 11:30. Even though you haven't clocked out, you're still on your lunch break while you're walking to the lunch room. Expect this for every break. -Expect to be treated as a lower class person. -The pay is a joke. -No sick time -The new attendance policy states that if you are late you're absent. No incentive to show up to work because you will be punished because of traffic, your wife, kids, car not starting or whatever problem you have because life happens. -They don't accept doctors notes. I remember when I walked in with a doctors note because I had strep throat. I stayed out because I didn't want my co-workers to get my illness. They told me that they don't accept doctors notes. I was punished. Now I go to work sick so that I won't be punished. -Unbelievable amount of rules and KMAS procedures that management forgets what rules they create, it's hysterical. -The lack of coordination within the company shows how disconnected employees are from each other and the company. The cons for this job and my overall company outlook depict this as a very undesirable place to work.

Cons

Parking lot is small. It's hard to find a spot.
