Pros

The best reasons are the people. The people working here are very down to earth and willing to help out. The company values are great, they actually care about the employees.

Cons

The challenges would be moving development forward. Thing may get slow due to the management trying to get a hold of the folks in Japan.

Pros

Job security. You get paid for doing the bare minimum and unless you really work hard to not do your job or anger upper management, you won't get fired. There was a yearly bonus which was pretty sweet.

Cons

Management does not know a thing about managing people. Company culture is that of a Japanese company: work hard (10+ hrs) = favoritism. This company never thinks outside the box, and for employees who want to push the envelope, they get scolded for. If you're not a "yes-man", you're put on the crap list and will be labeled as a "troublemaker". No room for growth. I worked there for three years and never saw anyone get promoted.
