Pros

Nice staff, good customers (for the most part), cordial atmosphere, 1 week of pretty intense paid training, great shopping discounts (yeay!), flexibility with schedule during most times, great support and positive feedback from job coaches

Cons

Crazy 3 or 4 weeks around Christmas time with no flexibility whatsoever, not enough room for everyone during that time, as a result calls have to be taken in training rooms without cubicles, high level of stress due to few breaks between calls, low pay (10.13/hr for Customer Service Representative I - beginner's position).

Pros

Co-Workers, Heritage, Discount, Borrowing Equipment, Camp usage.

Cons

The toughest challenge working at Bean's is the need to wait for someone to die (Literally or figuratively) in order to move up. Lack of management support for their own initiatives. Too many priorities. Everything is a priority, and balance is something rarely achievable.

Pros

Good people, good managers, employee discount rocks

Cons

long term, bored associates suck the energy out of seasonals. Rotate seasonals around to different departments and bring the good ones back as generalists who can help you anywhere. Pay your retail floor managers better. They are your unsung heroes.
