Pros

Great company with great history. They offer great perks to their employees in terms of the discount and employee store

Cons

Retail is always scary. IT has no work life balance. Management does not want to hear any negative comments and will ding you for anything they can. Many live in fear and that is not a great long term management style.

Pros

If you are lucky enough to work with colleagues you like, the work place is bearable

Cons

Every day you have a different start time. You do not get 2 days off in a row. You have to work Saturdays. There is a high turnover in management, and the management is not supportive of employees. There is no equity. There is no protocol for advancement by demonstrating high quality work. The work environment is stressful.

Pros

None at all. Management hires their friends and everyone else gets screwed.

Cons

This company has no clue how to be effective retailers. They have cut hours to the bone. One week I was scheduled for 6 hours, they cut it to four and cancelled completely. They hired people to start ghe Saturday before Christmas when trained people were not getting the hours ghey wanted. Store management had a ridgix hierarchy with an ask someone sho cares attitude.
