I have never seen a "manager" threaten to rip a customer out of their car and beat their a-- on the parking lot until I worked here. Corporate and hotel management often can't figure out who's in charge, and the valet team ends up being left with conflicting instructions, and gets blamed by whichever party didn't get obeyed. They preach "luxury" here, but recently cut all employee paychecks from 15$ an hour down to $10$ an hour, and after that everything went downhill. Now half of these "luxury" drivers have less driving skills while operating these expensive luxury cars than a toddler in a foot peddle car. I recently found out they had a homeless guy break into a residents car, and instead of supporting the security guard that caught the guy, they forced them to relocate and didn't even tell the customer that their car was broken in. Their reason for cutting wages was to "be more competitive", and they promised they would install a credit card reader to catch extra tips to help offset the wage reduction? They didn't. Instead they cracked down on employees harder than ever, and for $10 an hour, this job just isn't worth it. This is Austin ffs, I can make 13$ an hour flipping burgers but they can't pay their employees enough to deal with the stress they put on them. Couldn't get out of there fast enough.
