Pros

Compensation, Cna-nurse teamwork, location, hours, shift differentials, and medium stress level. The customers, though they feel entitled due to their drained pocketbooks, are very respectful and show their appreciation by paying for Christmas bonuses collectively.

Cons

The management was very unprofessional, disrespectful, biased, never gave recognition or acknowledged good work; I heard the words "thank you" twice a year. Rarely given the days off that we're requested due to few prn workers and set schedules for special employees. There are several nurses who are out of touch with modern medicine and are just waiting to retire.

Pros

Company as a whole is embracing a flexible workplace with only one day in the office required for employees who don't have direct reports. If you do have direct reports, you have to be in the office 3 days a week. 401K match has no vesting period which is great.

Cons

Teams and managers don't always follow the lead of the company and are too rigid while the company as a whole preaches flexibility. I was brought in through a recruiter and took a bit of a pay cut but was promised a great culture and it has not lived up to that. I also believe I am being underpaid. I was promised a raise shortly after starting, only to find out I have to wait a year and a half for one and there has been no salary adjustments due to the horrible inflation we are going through. PTO is lacking because of not many holiday days. Company should give employees Black Friday and 2 days around Christmas and New Years (currently only one day each).
