Pros

Great physical environment, great location, everyone is very friendly and helpful. Lots of truly talented, intelligent people. LDR has a spectacular product line. The benefits are excellent.

Cons

A lot of the processes are painfully manual; automation of functions is desperately needed. No one likes to come to work and feel constantly behind no matter how many hours they put in.

Pros

The People - I've had the opportunity to work closely with a cross function group of employees both in Austin and in the field. Every person I've met has a passion for our product and the impact that it has on people's lives. Work/Life Balance - Coming from software it's been truly eye-opening to see a come that not only talks about balance but practices it. Even the executives are out of the office by 6pm most days. I no longer receive emails @ 11 pm or over the weekend. On the rare occasion I do, no one expects a response till Monday. The Benefits package is stellar

Cons

Due to the company's rapid growth, and globally dispersed offices, there are a few minor growing pains. Cross team and cross geography communication can be clunky. Many of the tools and processes are a bit manual for an organization our size IMHO. (Though I'm beginning to see a shift toward automation in a few key department.)
