It's in a growing field

Cons

Employees are only given a $10 Christmas bonus (this year that was given to a charity {tax write off for them} and employees got nothing. The health benefits are awful (and we"re a home health company) Micromanage many aspects of employees and pay is considerably less than similar jobs at competitive home health companies

Excellent benefits and salary. We have the most up to date equipment and computers to be able to do our job with speed and accuracy. The people that work for LHC Group are honest, hardworking and top notch individuals. They are the #1 reason LHC Group is the best. We have access to the best training and information to enable us to perform our job duties as\t top level.

Cons

I don't believe there are particular chanllenges, because everyone is expected to give 100% and that is what I feel is necessary in order to build a top notch company with satisfied employees. You don't feel an ownership in a company that you don't give your best.

Fair compensation, auto program, clean bathrooms, copier works , pasteries at meetings, paycheck is on time. Telephones work , heating and air work. that's all the pros I can think of

Cons

Southern Illinois region was nothing but a daily nightmare. Poor management in general. Therapy has no real leadership. Therapy management was flying by seat of pants. Nearly all therapy staff has quit in Marion and Mt. Vernon offices. Poor ethics . Company has history of medicare abuse. Medical insurance was no bargain.
