Pros

I found nothing enjoyable or rewarding about working for this company.

Cons

Work load is overwhelming. Compensation is inadequate. Patient care is poor. LHC is concerned with compensation only. Employees and patients are treated poorly. Based on other reviews it seems like a great job for corporate and office types. But as far as patient care staff go I would strongly advise against working for this company.

Pros

I have seen people who are dedicated and hard working be promoted to greater roles. The CEO sends personal leadership messages to all employees three times a week - often keeping them up to date of the latest news in the industry and how policies effect what we do. Pay is at or above market for similar organizations, but stability of employment far exceeds others. I like having confidence that the organization I work for will be around 10 years from now.

Cons

Little connection with home office departments. Difficult to know who to contact and where.

Pros

Good pay, insurance is still good, company car is a nice perk, PTO is good and accrues quickly, good staff except for branch manager.

Cons

Went from good to bad in 2 month period that hand held tablets started being used for real time documentation. Branch mgr. is using new system to micro manage/big brother the field staff by insisting we update after every visit, watching what time you start/finish, how long you take to travel, etc. Branch mgr. uses text messages to send out vital job information, patient info (HIPAA violation), and performance criticisms, all of which should be done by phone call or email, not text which is unreliable, and unprofessional. Branch mgr. talks negatively about employees to other employees.
