      Pros

      Hospice work is the most rewarding work there is and the patients we serve are the reason I stayed longer than I wanted to.

      Cons

      The executive director and AVP focus is only on patient census and no care towards staff. They will work you into the ground just to get their numbers up. Take away mileage and don’t pay for a cell phone for field staff. High nursing turnover.

      Work 50 plus hours a week and get paid for 40. Too much call. Too many managers! Constant nurse turnover! Terrible PTO accrual, the worst I have ever seen.
