      Pros

      Great company that values employees. There's plenty of room for growth and they mainly hire leadership roles from current employees climbing the ladder. I've been with the company 6 years and counting. I don't plan on going anywhere. They value their employees and patients as well.

      Cons

      For field clinicians- charting. But that's with every home health company there is.

      Loved my posistion

      Pros

      Knowing you were part of a company that was assiting clients stay in their home with different cases of health issues

      Cons

      Upper Management presented themselves to care more about dollar amount and numbers than the purpose of the company and their staff.

      Enjoyable Work Environment

      Pros

      In the IT department, teams are well balanced and willing to assist with all issues. Management appears to be active and willing to act on areas that require improvement. Compensation seems fair. LHC Group has ample opportunities for remote work and has cultivated the proper resources to encourage work from outside the home office.

      Cons

      As in much of healthcare, frustrations arise among transitions with new ownership. That is not unique to LHC Group, but it is certainly felt across all IT employees. Many expectations from different stakeholders (internal and external) are not always aligned with established company policy and/or are not communicated effectively.
