Pros

-Great immediate supervision -Great (and helpful) Team -Certification Reimbursement -Great for Entry Level

Cons

-IT Service Desk is underpaid. To many great employees leave due to the Service Desk being underpaid. -The Executive Team (Senior Management) do not value the IT Service Desk as they should. When times were tough, the Service Desk were the first ones looked at for wage freezes. In my personal opinion, I think they undervalue the Service Desk because they do not make money for the company. They look at them as being expendable.

Pros

Great Team Environment, coworkers great

Cons

If you love recruiting stay away from this company. Huge turnover, don't care about hiring quality, only quantity. Subjected to daily emails on how many hires each person has and name is marked in red for all to see if you do not make your goal. The use of bullying and intimidating practices to get the work done is not acceptable and creates a very toxic work environment. Unrealistic measurements and goals. . Never heard anyone talk about the care of their patients, only numbers and profit.

LHC Group prides itself on transparency in every department of our organization. Metrics are used to motivate, encourage and reward employees for ensuring quality patient care. Our quality measures are one of the best in the industry based on Star ratings and our turnover has continued to decline year over year to the lowest levels in our company's history.

Pros

Most of the office staff and nurses were great. I had a decent marketing budget at first but it got cut. That's about it.

Cons

Everything. Pay is crap. 45k base. Commission was around 800 bucks a month if you hit budget. Maxed out around 1300 per month if you hit budget/goal which they do everything in their power to keep you just short of hitting your budget. I was lied to about my territory. I was never showed comp plan and was lied to about it. Manager never worked territory and changed territory goals once she got promoted. You compete with your "coworkers" within your territory which is the dumbest thing I've ever experienced. Two weekly phone calls to report numbers which could be emailed and is a waste of time. You have to battle the competition of other hospitals with their own home health. The UT Med Center name is a curse...stay away from it. Also, the home office is a joke. The benefits suck, they axed the fleet car program, 401k is crap and it takes forever to get fully vested. Their CRM is a joke and you have to input everything twice because they live in the stone ages. You can't do anything electronically such as PTO or Changing Bank info, etc. The icing on the cake was I found a new job and gave my two weeks notice and my manager let me go immediately. with no pay. What a class act. Run Away from this job!
