Pros

This organization - nationwide - has a great office culture. It is warm and welcoming and very much team-oriented. The company has a very family-oriented nature and style. Colleagues and Associates are very caring, responsive, and helpful. In spite of how large LHH is and the 300+ offices they have worldwide, the organization is flat and the office politics are minimal. The exposure to senior leaders, executives and subject matter experts is very good - which in turn has a positive impact on professional development and advancement. The company is very customer / candidate focused. It is commonplace to see all staff members go above and beyond their roles and expectations to serve customers and candidates alike. It is rewarding to be surrounded by team members that share the same sense of purpose and furthering the mission of helping people. The benefits package is generous if you are a full time salaried colleague. The work life balance is easy to achieve here. They are supportive of all work styles including virtual options. The one factor that keeps me here the most are my direct mangers. I have been promoted faster in my eight year tenure with this company than any company I have previously worked for. The company has several recognition programs at local levels and regional levels.

Cons

The company is a tenured company - most employees have been here at minimum 7 - 10 years if not more. There are long-standing established relationships that at times can hinder or make inefficient the process of implementing change. From a technology perspective the company is still working diligently to make significant improvements and they are well on their way - the systems are still somewhat slow. There is no tuition reimbursement program. The compensation model for 1:1 consultants has room for improvement

Pros

The career consultants do nice work for the clients in transition. Offered training for clients who could utilize it during their transition.

Cons

Corporate leadership sends mixed messages to employees, especially after merger with DBM. Too much focus on $$. Though develpoment offered to employees, little time to take advantage as so many were over worked.

Pros

The people other than management are some of the best and most committed people anywhere. There's flexibility to bring your experiences to bear on situations and services. Facilities are generally above average.

Cons

They announce many new concept initiatives with great fanfare and expense only to abandon them with out explanation. There's little room for any feedback from mid and lower level staff.
