Pros

Great team and leadership with whom to work - it's nice to come to work here. But, working with the individual clients, individuals having experienced a Workforce Reduction [WFR], is the best. Those clients are smart/talented people who were impacted by strategic decisions beyond their control. They come seeking assistance and insight into better marketing themselves. It is an honor and a privilege to give them the tools they need to restart their careers. And, what a rush it is to celebrate with them when they land a new role, frequently at a better level of compensation - this is the best payoff for me as the coach/consultant.

Cons

The work can be sporadic with peaks and valleys, but the slow periods can give one time to take care of personal needs. Typically, those slow times happen around holidays which is good for most of us. Other reviews mention compensation concerns - I get that, but suggest these points also be considered: 1) the pay level is roughly competitive for the role; and, 2) the person who will be most successful in this role is primarily motivated by supporting others during a time of uncertainty - it's not all about me.

Pros

LHH is a company where you can start a rewarding career making a difference in other people's lives, contributing to make their career transitions shorter and more productive.

Cons

LHH offers rewarding careers that are also very demanding and time-consuming, and despite being market leaders their compensation schemes are not the best / highest in this industry.

Not what it used to be

Pros

Global firm; opportunity to help people at a challenging time in their career

Cons

They talk a good game ("we care about people"), but in real life, it's all about revenue and bashing the competition. Many longstanding employees have been treated poorly. Not the firm it used to be.
