Pros

flexible schedule nice people for the most part

Cons

Executive Recruiter Legal. Recruiting attorneys. I am a former practicing attorney and wanted to switch careers. I wanted a career which was less competitive than litigation. This is not it. They expect at least 200 cold calls per week. They fired a large portion of my training class. Culture has completely changed and is no longer supportive of employees developing their recruiting careers. We were led to believe we would have at least 6 months to make a placement. The reality is, if you didn't make one 3 months in (which is very difficult for legal), then you were either fired or put on an improvement plan. Even when you do everything you were trained, making a placement is much more difficult than you are led to believe.

Pros

Great opportunity to help people in a difficult time in their life.

Cons

Consultants are treated like expendable resources. Low pay with no merit or cost of living increases.
