I was paid at the bottom 25% and am overloaded with work. I was hired to focus on a specific area in finance, but when my boss went on maternity leave, she expected me to take on her responsibilities in accounting as well. This is outside my area of expertise and beyond what I can handle. Given that it’s my busy season, I am already working more hours than usual. With these added accounting duties, I am now expected to work over 60 hours a week for months, which is unacceptable.
