      when they need something from you they are great

      Cons

      when i got diagnosed with cancer they cut me instead of people at the same position who were no call no shows regularly at work also they charge so much for their survey crews that they wont even do work in house and out source work that could be done in house

      Pros

      LJA really cares about quality work and bringing in work. If you want to get into Land Development, LJA is definitely a great option for you.

      Cons

      They generally expect you to work more than 40 hours a week regardless if you are in a position that pays you for overtime or not. It varies by group, but I know people who have left because they want a better work life balance and other companies can provide that. Additionally, some managers feel it is necessary to bring in work even if it isn't going to be profitable just because it is available. More carefully choosing which projects are worked on would reduce stress levels and reduce the number of overtime hours expected.

      Long hours, many meetings, toxic mid level managers, too much gossip, not organized in sharing tasks and projects, favoritism by mid managers
