Pros

LJA is an employee-owned company that shares the success of the company with employees. Each year the company adds $ to an employee's ESOP account balance, this balance also is increasing based on company success/stock price increasing each year. It's much, much more than what you get with a 401k match. Managers are very approachable, it is a nice place to work plus I get an 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off.

Cons

Building is a little dated but they are making improvements.

Pros

I have great coworkers that have taught me a lot due to their many years of professional experience. The atmosphere at work is friendly and mostly people are approachable. Medical and other benefits are good, but not outstanding.

Cons

The company has grown at a fenomenal rate over the last few years, but unfortunately it still operates much like a small company. Salary raises are not impressive at the graduate engineering level.

Cons

50+ hours is expected. Anything less is treated like excessive absenteeism. Frantic work load. Deadlines stacked on top of Deadlines. While morale is usually high; there is a undercurrent of excessive stress that affects the work environment. Not a very diverse group of employees.
