      Pros

      LJA is an employee-owned company that shares the success of the company with employees. Each year the company adds $ to an employee's ESOP account balance, this balance also is increasing based on company success/stock price increasing each year. It's much, much more than what you get with a 401k match. Managers are very approachable, it is a nice place to work plus I get an 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off.

      Cons

      Building is a little dated but they are making improvements.

      Pros

      Good company, but really depends on what group you are in as to how you will be treated and compensated..

      Cons

      Some VPs don't care about anyone but the PM''s or PE's... if you are a designer or CAD be aware some will not even talk to you or will tray you with little or no respect..

      We question if this review was left by an actual prior employee of LJA - it would be very unusual for a prior employee to refer to a singular LJA ‘owner’ as we are all employee-owners. LJA Engineering believes in employee ownership. All LJA Engineering employees are the ‘owner’ of LJA engineering through our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) and being an employee-owner is very much part of our corporate culture. There is no single owner. All LJA's employee-owners benefit from the Company's growth and success through our ESOP.
