Pros
Stable work. They always care you have a project. This is their business though. Insurance was not bad couple of years ago. Actually getting worse these days.
Cons
- Very low salaries comparing to market median. - Work environment depends on the project. You can get either a good project with good technologies, nice team and management, or a hectic not organized project, 20+ years old technologies with no learning abilities, and sick, egocentric, career oriented team members. You never know what will be the project you get. - Everybody (management) makes the nice face but not real things. 90% people in management who I worked with were not worrying about been in time, or not doing something just to be polite. If you have to do something they will create a pressure. If you need something from them they will be arrogant and never in time. - Tons of gossips and snitches. - If you are not an indian person you will learn new world of cultural prejudices. - Thousands of useless company emails every day that you have to read just to make sure you are not missing an important mail. - You are always guilty in any tense situation.
