Pros

They will take a recent graduate with no experience, and there is job stability. You will have up to 60 hours a week of work and they need workers too badly for you to be fired for anything short of repeated major errors in the lab. Also there's a 10% pay differential for second-shift employees. It's enough to live on fairly comfortably if you're single. The job experience here will realistically give you opportunities that pay 55-65K a year if you leave the company.

Cons

However, there is mandatory overtime (45-50 hours a week), a general lack of communication, the pay is under market value, and as of 2021 they required you to sign a 2-year contract or you will need to pay up to $10,000 depending on how quickly you leave. My recommendation is to stay a year but have a job lined up at your 1-year mark. You'll owe $4,500, but can make 10-15K more at your next job. Also, ask a lawyer about how enforceable the contract is.

Pros

Overtime is awesome when it comes to paychecks. 6 paid holidays and a pretty good PLB to use. This position has been a stable and guaranteed income during pandemic times. I've met so many awesome co-workers. They train you for the position.

Cons

Overtime was not stated during onboarding or the application process, in fact mandatory overtime was checked no. This is not true. There is most definitely mandatory overtime once trained in a position that provides use. Holidays are mandatory for those normally scheduled the day of when no one volunteers and who wants to seriously volunteer for a day like Christmas? The training agreement is 2 years or you pay back the training costs dependent on the time left in your contract. The pay isn't competitive for others doing the same position after being fully trained. I've definitely heard many complaints from the workers who have been there.

Pros

Good work experience and excellent coworkers. Plenty of teamwork and coordination is required to get the job done. Would recommend to new graduates.

Cons

Toxic upper management and low amounts of opportunity for job growth. They push people too hard for too little and continue to ignore solutions to common problems.
