The work is easy and you get paid to do repetitive tasks.

Cons

Barely any raises, only get about $1 a year if you’re lucky. Barely any chances to move up in the company.

The managers are never really in the labs and don’t really micromanage

Cons

You are literally micromanaged by everyone else who acts like they are a lead. Everyone is cut throat and fake and will do anything to get into the CGMBS program

Each individual learns bountiful hands on experience, and the longer you stay the more involved you become with upper-level communication. The first year you are there you learn something every day!

Cons

Within the wet-lab, schedules can change day to day basis. If you are looking for a predictable job, this is not it!
