It is a terrible place to work.

Pros

The only reason to work at LabCorp is if you can't get another job somewhere else. The pro is basically a paycheck and benefits.

Cons

Morale is extremely low. Corporate (not management) does not seem to care about investing in their employees. They squeeze every last minute out of you for minimum pay. Cutbacks are demoralizing.

Only focused on short term financial growth

Pros

Great people to work with, decent benefits, used to be a company that valued employees. Might be a good place to gain experience but don't get sucked in to being a long-term employee, it will not benefit you in the end.

Cons

only looks at short term profits for stakeholders. Sr. leadership is very disconnected and very reactionary to short term issues instead of looking at long term. Has made some very poor business decisions lately and are losing employee loyalty. Company continues to gain profit year over year but continues to cut employee raises, benefits and overworks current staff to keep headcount low.

Pros

Its a job. It pays. If you are good at politics and dont want to work very hard it is an excellent place to work. Probably the best.

Cons

Incentives are talked about but never followed through. Females are the first to be promoted. Systematic bullying due to the poor management skills in some departments. Female management will simply team up against any highly skilled worker that may question their decisions and force them to be unhappy and resign. Also you may be forced to work against your own work ethics, i.e. not give full facts to customers, take short cuts to allow drug approval and report to management with personal information on your co-workers.
