Pros

Good Benefits and reasonable career opportunities in the right department

Cons

Old fashioned, no real leadership for changing convoluted processes. I suspect competition from China will hard them hard in the not to distant future

Pros

Continuous improvement Lots of training - career improvement Absolutely fantastic people to work with Supervisors are great and really care Fast paced, get it done attitude

Cons

Some silos between departments and communication issues Upper management appears to be a bit out of touch with the day to day of what goes on. In addition, financial predictions and forecasts were not at all reliable from finance.

Pros

Tremendous gain of knowledge, experience and skills that are useful for career growth and development. The active and challenging work environment does not leave room boredom. Benefits are decent. A large number of intelligent people work here. Like any other place, most are pleasant, and, of course, there are exceptions.

Cons

The workload is unrealistically high. It is doubled and even tripled, and the expectations remain the same. You are pretty much punished for being efficient. Training was next to nonexistent, you are left to learn on the job. Management is rarely available to address concerns or provide guidance. Despite the enormous workload, the lack of training of team members, and the limitation of resources, hard work and dedication are severely undermined. There was no such thing as staying ahead. The amount of work could not bring the best out of me personally, and probably others. Everyone develops a tunnel vision due to the high levels of stress they are under. It seems like even management had limitations on what they could address or change. There are very limited opportunities for growing within the company, at Chantilly site. Finally, the yearly reviews are absolutely unfair and even false.
