Pros

Laborie does not hesitate to invest in R&D work, they provide all the resources you need to execute on deliverables, they trust your expertise in your field to make decisions.

Cons

While having all the resources available to you for an R&D product, sometimes project teams can be oversaturated.

Pros

Maybe a paycheck, oh you might get a 3% raise if you’re lucky.

Cons

The whole place. When you walk through the doors you see all the mission statements how we are for our employees ,we value our staff, it’s all for show. It’s about the bottom line baby! It is one of the most disappointing places I’ve worked. If you are not part of the upper and middle management , you are nothing in the eyes of supervisors. Management is a laugh, to inspire you at meetings they will tell how things are going and at the end of said meetings your supervisor will denigrate the staff. Very much old school carrot and stick management. Micromanagement throughout. Most work instruction is based on tribal knowledge. Really atrocious work environment, emotionally draining to work with some of the people. Bad behavior and verbal harassment that is tolerated and it seems enjoyed by supervisor. Management is a joke as most seem to not have any management skills or experience. Maybe actually take a course on management skills. HR is a complete joke, they are there to protect the company. Communication is lacking all around, to compensate the lack of raises you get pizza once in awhile or the ice cream truck shows up, catered lunch once a year, give employees the money spent on the food. Will not be there long enough to retire, luckily.
