Pros

get your benefits and 3-4 weeks vacation right at the start. although be careful! they want to know what you are taking your vacation for and might not like it or let u!

Cons

Worked in the western Canadian Team (not BC) Manager would constantly tell us one thing but tell his boss another (ie. outright lie). This was not one time but multiple and was very hurtful. His boss doesn't care about what you might have to say because you are wrong, always. No matter what. He always, always, always sides with his right-hand man. It's as if my feelings and opinion and the truth doesn't really matter. The folks still working there says it's all the same but worse. our manager has gotten way farther out of hand. They could probably do with just the manager from BC overlooking the entire west as he has Truemanagement experience that could really help the team.

Pros

Reasonable wage at this company.

Cons

-I enjoyed working for this company for a while but there was a definite and terminal slide in company culture during my tour of duty. This was agreed upon by a large majority of my compatriots. -Forget about work/life balance. -Utterly top-down management style. They will wring out any inkling one has of trying to make production more efficient, safer, cleaner, healthier for ultimate consumers etc. I saw this time and again. -Huge amount of negativity, cynicism - generally from management, not the labor. They hire some really strange people to run things. The HR people and others seem like they crawled out of the pits of hell ... and then they crawl back - extremely high management turnover.

Great company, great people!

Pros

Great team environment, collaborative. Its a company where if you have a question you can go up to any VP to ask it and they will help. Not bureaucratic. People really LOVE working here. I started 6 months ago but work with people who are lifers and they love it! Great benefits, pension and bonus structure. Training programs Opportunities Abroad; my boss had the opportunity to work in France for a year and we have lots of people from other countries working here. They really support internal career growth Super stable industry Plus I love cheese :)

Cons

They don't have a lot of flextime or work from home options. 8:30ish -5ish are pretty standard work hours here.
